Summary: On Tuesday June 22, 2010, the BC Government announced 30.7M of support for the TRIUMF/UVIC science initiative named Ariel (Advanced Rare IsotopE Labratory). This project is for the creation of a cutting edge superconducting particle-accelerator and isotope production facility and will lead to new breakthroughs in health, medicine, and scientific discovery.
